One year, their meeting is interrupted when asteroids block their path and stop the eclipse from happening. To fix this, they combine their light sunlight and moonlight together to move the asteroids and bring the eclipse back, allowing them to meet again.

This project is a series of illustration cards that tell the story of two best friends represented by the Sun and the Moon. Even though they are far apart, they meet once every year during a lunar eclipse.

The story is inspired by my own long-distance friendship, where my best friend and I are often described as the Sun and the Moon. It reflects the idea that distance doesn’t break connection, and that two people can still find their way back to each other.
